Mac Informer re-design

Good news everyone!

We’re proud to announce another update for Mac users – please, welcome newly redesigned Mac Informer.

New design of Mac Informer is aimed at better usability and more convenience. We worked hard and really hope that now it would be easier for everyone to find suitable software, get to the newest reviews, discuss the latest news and gossips, make software suggestions etc.

Also, be sure to download the updated version of the Mac informer Client – great recommendation and update service for all the Mac fans. With the new Mac Informer it would be even easier for you to keep all your Mac software updated. Our tiny yet powerful app has all the updates for your apps (even the one’s that don’t come from the Mac App Store). Just install Mac Informer and it will automatically detect which of the installed apps should be updated, fetch the download links, and display them in a clean and simple interface.

Mac Informer can analyze your list of installed apps and suggest a new better ones based on what you actually use.

So, do not wait any longer and improve your software experience with Mac Informer and Mac Informer Client.

Android users do not forget that we have a treat for you as well – the Android.Informer.com.

After working for several days, the program now gets stuck on “Initializing Mac Informer . . . this may take a while.” I deleted the Mac Informer program from my mac and downloaded and reinstalled it, but that didn’t help. I then deleted the Mac Informer plist in hopes that forcing it to start the plist anew would fix the problem, but it did not. Have you any suggestions for getting the program to work again?

This happened to me too. Rebooting didn’t help. I even used AppDelete to remove Mac Informer and reinstalled Mac Informer. This did not fix the problem. Again, Mac Informer always got stuck on “Initializing Mac Informer . . . this may take a while.”. In order to finally fix the problem I used AppDelete to remove Mac Informer, IMMEDIATELY REBOOTED, and then reinstalled Mac Informer. I am not sure exactly how I fixed the problem, but I highlighted the part that seems to be the reason why my first attempt to remove and re-install Mac Informer wasn’t successful. I just submitted this information to Mac Informer.

I like the redesign. It feels very fresh and clean, and it follows the Apple’s design philosophy, which is always nice. Functionality is also on the high level. Great job.
